Cato Adds Data Context to XOps

Cato Networks has integrated Cyera’s Data Security Posture Management platform with Cato XOps, giving security teams more context around the data involved in an incident. The integration brings Cyera’s data intelligence into Cato’s security operations environment so teams can prioritize alerts based on data sensitivity, business value, and exposure risk.

Many security alerts still tell teams what happened, but not enough about what is actually at stake. An incident involving low-risk data should not be treated the same way as an activity tied to regulated, sensitive, or high-value business data. Without that context, analysts often spend time manually piecing together signals from network, endpoint, cloud, and data security tools before they can decide what needs attention first.

Cato XOps already brings together XDR and AIOps capabilities by collecting and correlating telemetry in a single data lake. With Cyera added to that environment, Cato can connect security activity with data sensitivity insights. That gives teams a clearer view of the attack chain, the systems involved, and the type of data potentially exposed.

The integration can help security teams focus on incidents involving critical or regulated data, apply tighter access controls based on data access paths, and investigate network, endpoint, cloud, and data signals from one place.
