Huskeys raises $27 million to manage AI-driven network traffic

Huskeys has secured $27 million in Series A funding to address the growing complexity of internet traffic driven by AI agents, aiming to help companies differentiate between legitimate and malicious bots, based on information from Channel Insider.

The company, valued at over $100 million, plans to expand its Network Edge Security Management (NESM) platform. Huskeys' approach integrates with existing security and networking tools, offering a unified data model for better visibility across cloud providers, content delivery networks, and web application firewalls. This strategy aims to reduce fragmentation for managed service providers and security partners managing multi-vendor environments. The platform includes features like dynamic policy generation and virtual patching to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Huskeys reports analyzing over a trillion web requests daily, with clients including TikTok and Blackstone. The funding will bolster U.S. sales and marketing efforts, as the company seeks to establish NESM as a necessary category in an increasingly crowded security landscape. The challenge lies in accurately distinguishing between beneficial and harmful automated traffic, a critical task as non-human web traffic is projected to reach 70% by 2027.
