Ingram Micro and Cisco launch AI-powered SMB quick buy platform

Ingram Micro has introduced a new digital tool designed to streamline the procurement of Cisco Systems technology for small and medium-sized businesses, as reported by CRN.

The initiative, known as SMB Quick Buy, utilizes artificial intelligence to automate manual purchasing processes through the Ingram Micro Xvantage digital commerce platform. By providing guided, validated solution selection and rapid quoting, the tool aims to reduce complexity and accelerate transaction speeds for partners.

Cisco and Cisco Meraki products are the first technologies integrated into this system. Executives from both companies noted that while Cisco has historically maintained a strong enterprise presence, its offerings have often been difficult for smaller organizations to navigate. This new platform seeks to bridge that gap by enabling partners to move from quote to close more efficiently. The rollout begins in North America with plans for a global expansion.

By automating routine tasks, the companies intend to allow partners to focus on consultative relationships rather than administrative burdens. This collaboration represents a significant shift toward agentic integration, where AI-driven systems between vendors and distributors work together to create a more seamless experience for the end customer.
