Netskope launches AI Command Center for AI discovery and risk response

Netskope has launched Netskope One AI Command Center, a new capability within its Netskope One AI Security suite that helps security teams discover AI tools, assess risk, and coordinate response from one platform. The company said the product is designed to give organizations a clearer view of AI activity across corporate and personal tools, managed and unmanaged assets, cloud environments, on-premises systems, and endpoints.

The launch comes as enterprise AI use continues to spread faster than many security teams can track. Netskope said the average enterprise it tracks saw AI application usage grow fivefold over the past year, while the average AI user base tripled. The company also said the average organization now manages 37 deployed AI agents and sees 223 AI data policy violations per month. That creates a visibility problem for security teams trying to understand which AI tools are being used, what data they touch, and where the real risk sits.

AI Command Center maps AI assets to identities, data stores, and connected tools. Netskope said the platform then correlates that information with data sensitivity, user risk, and application trust signals to surface hidden risk paths and recommend next steps. Those actions can include policy updates, remediation workflows or further investigation. The launch also adds endpoint AI discovery through Netskope One Client and server AI discovery through a lightweight eBPF agent for virtual machines and Kubernetes nodes.

For MSSPs and security teams, the bigger issue is operational scale. AI governance is moving beyond policy documents and app approvals into real-time discovery, data protection and response. Netskope is positioning AI Command Center as a way to help customers understand where AI is already running and how it is connected to sensitive data and enterprise systems. That gives partners a clearer services angle around AI risk assessments, shadow AI discovery, policy tuning, incident investigation and ongoing AI governance.
