Red River Acquires Invictus to Expand National Security Capabilities

Red River has acquired Invictus, a mission-focused national security services provider, adding deeper cyber, intelligence, and enterprise modernization expertise to its portfolio. Invictus will operate as “Invictus, a Red River Company,” and continue supporting sensitive government and intelligence missions with its existing leadership and customer relationships intact.

Invictus is best known for its role as lead integrator on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s modernization of the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System. Beyond DIA, the company supports operations across MARFORCYBER, STRATCOM, INSCOM, and other federal organizations, with work centered on cybersecurity, resilience, and global mission support. This experience strengthens Red River’s ability to execute long-term, high-trust programs within the defense and intelligence ecosystem.

The acquisition extends Red River’s Government Technology Systems business, which focuses on mission-based programs and non-traditional government contracting. With Invictus folded in, Red River broadens its capacity to support highly classified environments across the Department of War, the Intelligence Community, and civilian agencies, particularly where secure modernization and cyber operations intersect.

Invictus will continue operating under its current model while gaining access to Red River’s engineering resources, federal supply chain, OEM relationships, and end-to-end delivery capabilities. Together, the two companies aim to support complex modernization efforts that require both operational continuity and disciplined expansion in sensitive national security environments.
