Versa Adds CSPM to SASE Platform

Versa has added Cloud Security Posture Management to its VersaONE Universal SASE Platform. This will give security teams a way to monitor cloud misconfigurations, compliance risks, and access exposure from one place. The new capability is designed for multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Cloud risk is getting harder to manage across disconnected tools. Many organizations already have secure access controls in place, but misconfigurations, policy drift, and exposed cloud resources can still create real security gaps. Versa is trying to bring those issues closer together by combining cloud posture data with access security inside the same SASE platform.

Versa CSPM continuously checks cloud configurations, maps them against security and compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS, and prioritizes risks based on severity and exposure. The goal is to help security teams focus on the issues that could create the most risk, rather than simply adding more alerts to already crowded dashboards.

Cloud security, access security, and compliance reporting are increasingly connected problems, especially as customers run workloads across multiple cloud environments. Versa’s update gives providers another way to manage cloud exposure, investigate risk, and guide remediation without forcing teams to move between separate tools for every part of the workflow.
