Xona Partners with spotit to Strengthen OT Secure Access in Europe

Xona has partnered with Belgium-based MSSP spotit to deliver managed secure access for operational technology and industrial control system environments across Europe. The collaboration focuses on helping critical infrastructure operators secure remote and third-party access to OT, ICS, and cyber-physical systems while maintaining compliance and operational continuity.

As part of the agreement, spotit will offer the Xona Platform within its Zero Trust and OT/IoT security portfolio. The service is aimed at organizations that need to provide controlled access to sensitive systems without relying on legacy approaches such as VPNs, endpoint agents, or network redesigns. The joint offering supports managed and co-managed deployments designed for regulated industrial environments.

The platform allows spotit customers to enforce role- and time-based access policies, monitor sessions, and maintain full audit trails across OT systems. Delivered through a browser-based access model, it reduces exposure from insecure endpoints and simplifies governance for internal users and third-party vendors. The approach is well aligned with European regulatory requirements, including NIS2, where access control and visibility are central expectations.

With the partnership now active, spotit is integrating Xona into broader identity and Zero Trust initiatives for customers across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, and utilities. The focus is on making secure access operationally practical for critical infrastructure teams while reducing cyber risk and supporting long-term compliance objectives.
