MSSP UltraViolet Cyber Launches Security-as-Code Platform
UltraViolet Cyber, an MSSP and unified security operations solutions provider, has released a security-as-code platform that combines offensive and defensive security capabilities to help organizations address current and emerging cyber threats, according to the company.
Commenting on his company’s platform, UltraViolet CEO George McKenzie said:
“As cyber threats continue to increase, too many organizations still rely on disparate and disconnected solutions to shore up their defenses and manage cyber incidents. This is a radically new approach that unifies those solutions — creating a one-stop unified security operations offering that can manage both offensive (red) and defensive (blue) strategies into one UltraViolet strategy to keep organizations safe.”
UltraViolet’s platform includes the following managed security solutions:
- Managed Detection and Response (MDR) automates and unifies threat detection, investigation and response.
- Red Team-as-a-Service offers real world cyberattack simulations.
- Penetration Testing-as-a-Service provides penetration testing for on-premises, cloud, infrastructure and applications.
- Vulnerability Management validates security vulnerabilities across an organization’s attack surface and identifies, prioritizes and remediates security issues.
- Security Technology Management lets an organization work with UltraViolet’s subject matter experts to manage their security technologies.
Furthermore, UltraViolet’s platform integrates red- and blue-team activities, the company stated. In doing so, the platform helps organizations identify, manage and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities and prepare for cyberattacks.
UltraViolet Cyber Offers Cybersecurity Training, Federal Security Solutions
Along with managed security solutions, UltraViolet provides organizations with access to trainers that “have years of private-industry and public-sector experience and a deep passion for cybersecurity,” the company said. These trainers share tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) used in the wild. They also help organizations find the best ways to detect and defend against cyberattacks.
Meanwhile, UltraViolet helps federal organizations improve their cloud security posture and establish zero trust architecture, the company indicated. UltraViolet supports the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other federal agencies and departments. In addition, UltraViolet is a GSA Contract Holder for Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services.
