Anti-Ransomware Security Platform Provider Halcyon Announces MSSP Program

Halcyon, an anti-ransomware platform company, has launched a technology partner program for MSSPs, MSPs and other North American technology providers.

The program lets Halcyon partners leverage its security platform to help their customers identify and address ransomware attacks, the company said. It is open to technology providers across the following segments:

  • MSSPs that want to embed Halcyon's technology into their managed service offerings
  • Technology providers that want to enhance their existing security offerings
  • Channel partners that want to deliver anti-ransomware protection
  • Incident response providers that want to use Halcyon's technology in combination with their own artifact collection and investigation tools

Halcyon partners can access its partner portal and deal management platform, the company said. They also receive marketing and communications support and joint marketing development activities including events, webinars, training and sales material and priority access to new features and technical support.

To date, Halcyon has partnered with Optiv Security (a Top 250 MSSP), Navilogic and other cybersecurity technology providers. The company looks poised to expand its partnerships as more technology providers look for ways to integrate anti-ransomware protection into their portfolios.

Halcyon, founded in 2021, is located in Austin, Texas. The company has 41 employees listed on LinkedIn as of June 2022.

A Closer Look at Halcyon's Platform

Halcyon offers an anti-ransomware platform designed to augment and protect an organization's existing security products, the company said. The platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to combine pre-execution defense with deception and anti-detonation techniques to block ransomware before it executes.

In addition, the platform can be used in combination with security tools from CrowdStrike, SentinelOne and Microsoft, Halcyon noted. The platform also supports Windows 10 and 11 and Windows Server 2012, with future support planned for Linux, MacOS and other legacy versions of Windows.
