Check Point Software: New Partner Program, MSSP Push
Check Point Software Technologies has launched the Partner Growth Program, a global partner program designed to help VARs and MSSPs deliver next-generation security services and acquire new customers.
The launch surfaced amid this week’s Check Point cybersecurity conference for customers and partners — known as CPX 360 2020.
The company previously introduced the Check PointS global partner program for solution providers last year.
The Partner Growth Program provides access to expert resources to help MSSPs deploy new solutions and improve the overall product experience, Check Point said. In addition, the program endorses industry alliances and product integrations with platform providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware and Silver Peak.
Furthermore, the Partner Growth Program features tiered levels that incentivize MSSPs with competitive deal registration management, Check Point indicated. The program also rewards partners for supporting Check Point’s solutions.
Check Point is “a 100-percent channel-driven company.” It offers cloud, endpoint, network and mobile security solutions and continues to explore opportunities to expand its portfolio.
Check Point Acquires Protego, ForceNock Security
The Partner Growth Program announcement comes after Check Point last month acquired serverless security provider Protego for an undisclosed sum.
Check Point has integrated Protego’s technology into its Infinity security architecture for networks, endpoints and cloud, Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile environments, the company noted. It also will provide continuous serverless security with run-time protection and application hardening.
Meanwhile, Check Point purchased ForceNock Security, an Israeli company that specializes in web application and application programming interface (API) protection, in January 2019. Check Point has incorporated ForceNeck’s machine learning protection capabilities into Infinity.
