Fortinet Partner Program Gains Consumption Models, Specializations

Fortinet has updated its Engage program to help MSSPs, cloud services providers (CSPs) and systems integrators (SIs) grow their businesses, according to a prepared statement.

The Engage program updates include...

1. New Consumption Models

Fortinet has announced Engage program consumption models for the following offerings:

  • FortiSIEM security information and event management (SIEM)
  • FortiEDR endpoint detection and response (EDR)
  • FortiClient fabric agent for endpoint security
  • FortiSOAR security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR)
  • FortiAI virtual security analyst
  • FortiDeceptor deception-based breach protection

The new consumption models enable Engage partners to offer new security services that can be deployed quickly and at lower costs than ever before, Fortinet said.

2. New Specializations

Fortinet's new Engage specializations include:

  • Zero Trust Access
  • Operational Technology
  • Security Operations

These specializations can help Engage partners distinguish themselves as cybersecurity experts to current and potential customers, Fortinet stated.

3. NSE Course Enhancements

Fortinet's NSE training courses and eight-level certification program have been updated to help Engage partners meet more compliance requirements, the company noted. The NSE training courses and certification program are available free of charge.

Engage allows channel partners to develop the expertise needed to help their customers drive digital transformation, Fortinet said. It offers MSSP, cloud and integrator levels to help channel partners grow different areas of their businesses and differentiate their offerings.

Introducing FortiXDR

Fortinet's Engage updates come after the company in January launched FortiXDR, an artificial intelligence-based extended detection and response (XDR) solution.

FortiXDR uses security information shared across the Fortinet Security Fabric for cyber threat correlation and analysis, Fortinet said. It automates security operations processes typically handled by security analysts, allowing organizations to manage cybersecurity incidents from identification to remediation.

Fortinet offers security-driven networking solutions to global organizations. It ranks first in terms of most security appliances shipped worldwide.
