Microsoft Ignite: 6 Security Offerings That MSSPs Need to Know About

The Microsoft Ignite enterprise customer conference kicked off yesterday in Orlando, Florida. To date, several technology vendors have unveiled cybersecurity offerings that could impact the managed security services market, including:

1. Fortinet

Fortinet, an endpoint protection, firewall and intrusion prevention solutions provider, announced that its FortiGate Secure SD-WAN solution now integrates with the Azure Virtual WAN networking service. It also integrated its FortiCWP cloud workload protection solution with Azure to provide organizations with visibility into Azure workload activity and configurations and delivers the FortiWeb Cloud WAF-as-a-service via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

2. Secureworks

Secureworks, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019, integrated its Red Cloak threat detection and response offering with Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). In doing so, Microsoft Defender ATP customers can leverage Red Cloak to obtain threat intelligence across endpoint, network, cloud and business systems.

3. Check Point

Check Point Software Technologies, a cloud, network and mobile security solutions provider, integrated its CloudGuard cloud security solution with the Azure Security Center. The integration provides organizations with Azure security recommendations from CloudGuard and the Azure Security Center.

4. Trustwave

Trustwave, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019, introduced Microsoft Azure Threat Detection and Response services. Organizations can leverage these services to monitor, detect and respond to cyber threats across Azure environments.

5. Qualys

Microsoft integrated the Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys Container Security solutions into Azure. The integration helps organizations detect security vulnerabilities in virtual machines and containers; it is available in the Azure Security Center.

6. Tenable

Tenable integrated its Tenable.io vulnerability management solution with the Azure Security Center API. The integration provides organizations with cyber exposure insights across their Azure environments.
