MSSP PhishLabs, PhishLine Network Security Announce Partnership

PhishLabs, a South Carolina-based MSSP that offers phishing attack protection and threat intelligence services, is working with network security provider PhishLine to deliver advanced analytics and reporting. With the partnership, PhishLabs has integrated its Managed Enterprise Phishing Protection services with PhishLine's Social Engineering Management Platform.

The combined PhishLabs-PhishLine solution offers the following capabilities:

  • A machine-readable feed of worldwide phishing and malware threat indicators curated by the PhishLabs Research, Analysis and Intelligence Division (R.A.I.D.).
  • Forensic threat analysis.
  • Immediate delivery of attack-specific threat indicators to security controls.
  • Monitoring and analysis of suspicious emails.
  • Real-time identification of reported threats.

The combined solution enables PhishLabs and PhishLine customers to block phishing attacks in real-time and monitor user-reported attacks, according to a prepared statement. In addition, the solution ensures that PhishLabs customers can access PhishLine's Content Center Marketplace, which includes training videos and materials designed to teach users how to combat phishing attacks and other cyber threats.

PhishLabs Managed Enterprise Phishing Protection services help organizations prevent, detect, analyze and mitigate attacks, the company said. The services provide organizations with real-time indicators of compromise (IoC), PhishLabs stated, to speed up attack detection and mitigation.

The PhishLine Social Engineering Management Platform is designed to help organizations overcome the challenges associated with social engineering and phishing threats, the company indicated. It allows organizations to establish and customize security objectives, PhishLine said, to help employees counter social engineering and phishing threats.

PhishLabs Unveils a Threat Monitoring and Forensics Service

PhishLabs last month launched a Phishing Threat Monitoring & Forensics managed security service to help organizations identify and address attacks that go undetected by email security technologies.

With Phishing Threat Monitoring & Forensics, organizations can leverage a dedicated security operations center (SOC) that monitors suspicious emails in real-time and provides visibility into threats that enter employee inboxes, according to a prepared statement. The service also extracts threat indicators and adds them to a machine-readable STIX/TAXII feed any time an attack is detected.

PhishLabs was founded in 2008 and offers managed security services to safeguard organizations against phishing attacks that target their customers and employees. The company analyzes millions of potential attacks every day and is led by CEO Tony Prince, who possesses more than two decades of managed security services industry experience.
