SentinelOne Autonomous Endpoint Protection Adds MDR Offerings

SentinelOne, an autonomous endpoint protection platform provider, has added Deploy and Assist offerings to its Vigilance managed detection and response (MDR) service. The news comes after SentinelOne raised $120 million in Series D funding last month.

Deploy is an onboarding service that provides MDR protection during SentinelOne customer deployments, according to the company. Meanwhile, Assist delivers Vigilance protection for incident response partner profiles.

Both Deploy and Assist are now available. Each offering can be leveraged on its own or in conjunction with existing Vigilance service-level agreements (SLAs).

Vigilance provides threat assessment and response capabilities. In addition to Deploy and Assist, Vigilance includes Monitor and Response offerings.

Organizations can use Monitor to classify and prioritize incoming threats and alerts, SentinelOne indicated. Comparatively, Response offers Monitor capabilities, as well as consulting, threat response and deep sample forensics services.

SentinelOne Partners with SolarWinds, Automox

SentinelOne recently has announced several partnerships that could help the company extend its endpoint security market reach.

SentinelOne and SolarWinds in May unveiled the SolarWinds Endpoint Detection and Response solution at the Empower MSP conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands. MSPs can use SolarWinds Endpoint Detection and Response to detect and respond to cyber threats and guard against cyberattacks across virtual, physical, endpoint, server or cloud environments.

Furthermore, SentinelOne partnered with patch management company Automox earlier this year. The partnership enables SentinelOne customers to leverage Automox to obtain visibility into their devices and applications running both on-premises and in the cloud.

The company also has a longstanding relationship with Continuum, a platform and automation provider for roughly 6,000 MSPs.
