MSSP Partnership: SolCyber, DysrupIT Announce Pact
Australian IT software provider and systems integrator DysrupIT and SolCyber, a Top 250 MSSP, are working together to deliver managed security services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), according to a prepared statement.
The SolCyber partnership represents a “strategic addition” for DysruptIT, said Marco Hermosura, DysrupIT’s head of alliances and partnerships. It allows DysrupIT to provide organizations with access to SolCyber’s security technology stack, security analysts and security operations center (SOC) support.
DysrupIT now offers a Foundational Coverage option for its managed security services powered by SolCyber for $80 per month, per user. It also provides an Extended Coverage option that offers cloud protection, application-layer encryption and other managed security services.
SolCyber Introduces Managed Security Service and Cyber Insurance Program
The DysrupIT partnership comes after SolCyber in October 2022 launched “Howdy Partner,” a program that allows MSPs to use SolCyber’s Foundational Coverage services platform to integrate managed security services into their portfolios.
Howdy Partner enables MSPs to incorporate managed security services into their offerings and access discounted cyber insurance, CEO Scott McCrady said. That way, MSPs can upgrade their security offerings and improve their security posture.
Two Howdy Partner partnership options are available: Reseller or Referral. Reseller partners can integrate Foundational Coverage into their managed services, SolCyber noted. Meanwhile, Referral partners can share sales leads with SolCyber and receive a portion of the revenues generated from any customers that utilize the company’s security services.
A Closer Look at SolCyber
SolCyber focuses on making “Fortune 500 level managed security accessible for businesses of any size,” the MSSP stated. It provides curated security technologies to help organizations avoid security gaps.
Along with offering Howdy Partner, SolCyber continues to explore partnership opportunities. To date, SolCyber has partnered with SentinelOne, Securonix and other cybersecurity companies.
