Trustwave, a Top 250 MSSP, has integrated its managed detection and response (MDR) solution into the Trellix eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform, according to the companies.

Threat Hunting to Thwart Data Breaches

Organizations can use Trustwave MDR with Trellix XDR to hunt for threats in real-time, the companies said. In doing so, they can identify and respond to threats before they lead to data breaches.

In addition, Trustwave MDR and Trellix XDR together help organizations improve their mean time to respond (MTTR) to cyberattacks, the companies indicated. They also can be tailored to an organization's IT infrastructure.

Trustwave Adds to Security Portfolio

The Trellix integration comes after Trustwave has made several moves to upgrade its security offerings dating back to October 2022, including:

  • Relaunching the Trustwave Advanced Continual Threat Hunting Service. Advanced Continual Threat Hunting identifies threat actors in IT environments and helps organizations identify potential areas of compromise, Trustwave stated. It also allows organizations to hunt for threats based on indicators of behavior associated with specific threat actors.
  • Releasing the Trustwave Enterprise Pen Testing (EPT) Service. Organizations can use Trustwave's EPT service to identify known and unknown threats across their IT environments, the company said. The service is backed by Trustwave SpiderLabs certified vulnerability, penetration testing and scenario testing experts that provide testing exercises.
  • Launching a New Version of the Trustwave Co-Managed Security Operations Center (SOC) Solution: The new solution provides real-time threat monitoring and access to Trustwave’s Security Colony cybersecurity collaboration platform. It can help organizations avoid unnecessary costs and reduce alert noise by up to 90%, Trustwave stated.

Trustwave offers managed security, MDR, database security, email security and consulting and professional services. It continues to explore technology alliance partnerships. Trustwave also provides the PartnerOne program for MSSPs, MSPs and technology resellers.
