SentinelOne MSP Software Partnerships: Barracuda, ConnectWise, N-able (Who’s Next?)

Robot and human working together.

Barracuda Networks is the latest MSP-focused software company that leverages the SentinelOne Singularity XDR platform to help MSPs prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats, according to the companies.

The partnership surfaces roughly six months after Barracuda acquired Skout Cybersecurity, a Top 250 MSSP that develops XDR and Security Operations Center (SOC) solutions for MSPs. Fast forward to present day, and MSPs can purchase and use SentinelOne's XDR platform with Barracuda's SKOUT Managed XDR service to streamline threat analysis, detection and incident reporting, the companies indicated.

In addition, MSPs using Barracuda RMM can leverage SentinelOne's capabilities to monitor and assess their customers' security posture, the companies said. This helps MSPs protect their customers against current and emerging threats.

SentinelOne MSP Software Partnerships, Singularity Integrations

Take a closer look at the market, and SentinelOne has quietly built security partnerships with multiple MSP-focused software companies that are backed by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. The other SentinelOne relationships include such firms as ConnectWise and N-able.

The Barracuda partnership comes after SentinelOne in January 2022 unveiled the following Singularity integrations:

  • Automox: Provides vulnerability discovery and remediation.
  • Blue Hexagon: Helps users to detect and prevent malware and ransomware in the cloud.
  • Keysight: Allows users to simulate threats and analyze the risks associated with them.
  • Remediant: Lets users enforce zero trust solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructure.
  • ServiceNow: Enables IT and security teams to leverage ServiceNow's Security Incident Response (SIR) solution with Singularity to automate incident response, the two companies said.

Singularity delivers AI-based threat prevention, detection, response and hunting, SentinelOne stated. It helps users protect their endpoints, containers, cloud workloads and Internet of Things (IoT) devices against cyberattacks.

Meanwhile, SentinelOne reported its annual recurring revenues from MSSP-oriented channel partners increased more than 300 percent year over year in the third quarter of fiscal 2022. SentinelOne also looks poised to explore new integrations and other opportunities to extend its channel market reach.

MDR Services & EDR Software: Lots of Options for MSPs and MSSPs

Although SentinelOne has momentum, competition to engage MSPs in the SMB market remains fierce. Indeed, numerous XDR and MDR (managed detection and response) companies have build cloud, software and services to help MSPs safeguard small business customer systems and data.
