Stellar Cyber Adds Open XDR Platform to Oracle Cloud Marketplace

Stellar Cyber now offers its Open XDR (extended detection and response) Platform on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

Stellar Cyber's Integration with Oracle

Oracle customers can use Stellar Cyber's Open XDR Platform to automate threat detection and response, the companies said. They can leverage Stellar Cyber's Open XDR Platform in conjunction with these Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) service and technologies:

  • OCI Compute
  • OCI Block Storage
  • OCI Object Storage
  • OCI Network Load Balancer
  • Oracle Database Service
  • OCI Networking
  • Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes
  • Oracle Web Application Firewall
  • OCI Domain Name System
  • Oracle Identity Cloud Service

In addition, Oracle customers can access the following Open XDR Platform capabilities:

  • XDR
  • Next-generation security information and event management (NG-SIEM)
  • Network detection and response (NDR)
  • Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
  • Security orchestration and automated response (SOAR)

Also, Stellar Cyber announced its Open XDR Platform has achieved Powered by Oracle Cloud Expertise. This verifies that Stellar Cyber's Open XDR Platform is supported by the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure SLA and provides users with full access and control over their cloud infrastructure services and consistent performance, the companies indicated.

Stellar Cyber Announces Partnership, Leadership Additions

The addition of the Open XDR Platform to the Oracle Cloud Marketplace comes after Stellar Cyber in September 2022 partnered with Ridge Security, a security validation solution provider. Together, Stellar Cyber and Ridge Security have developed a joint solution that combines security operations management, threat detection and response and automated pentesting, the companies said.

Previously, Stellar Cyber announced AlienVault and AT&T Cybersecurity veteran Barmak Meftah joined its board of directors in August 2022. It also hired cybersecurity industry veterans Stephan Tallent as its worldwide vice president of service providers and Stephen Salinas as its head of product marketing in June 2022.

Organizations can use Stellar Cyber's Open XDR Platform to reduce their mean time to detect (MTTD) security incidents by 20 times and their mean time to respond (MTTR) to these incidents eight-fold, the company stated. MSSPs can join Stellar Cyber's Jumpstart Partner Program to integrate the Open XDR Platform into their offerings.
