Herjavec Group Acquires Securience; MSSP Gains IAM Security Expertise -

Herjavec Group has acquired Securience, an IT security consulting firm with identity and access management (IAM) expertise. The buyer is a Top 200 MSSP led by CEO Robert Herjavec, the angel investor who appears on Shark Tank. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Identity and Access Management Expertise

Securience, founded in 2014, offers such proprietary tools as:

Data Manager, an all-in-one data integration platform, staging solution, and analytics tool that allows customers to onboard enterprise applications and endpoints for IAM. This can be used as a company's CMDB, their main source of HR and identity information, or their single source of all application ACLs, Herjavec Group says.
Access Anywhere, which enables enterprises to externalize critical business activities such as Line Manager Approvals, User Access Reviews or Re-certifications, or notifications of violations and issues. Using a mobile application, users can perform these activities anywhere or at any time with the added benefit of enhanced security and risk analysis, Herjavec Group says.

Securience's IAM expertise spans such platforms as SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, RSA Security, Beyond Trust, Remediant, CA Technologies and SecZetta. The acquired business has IAM experts in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and India, the companies say.

In a prepared statement about the deal, CEO Robert Herjavec said:
