Netskope has purchased Kadiska and will integrate the company's digital experience management (DEM) platform into its secure access service edge (SASE) architecture, the companies announced.

Financial terms of the Kadiska acquisition were not disclosed.

This is technology M&A deal number 247 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2023.

Netskope, founded in 2012, is based in Santa Clara, California. The company has 2,330 employees listed on LinkedIn. Netskope's areas of expertise include cloud, data and network security.

Kadiska, founded in 2020, is based in Rouen, France. The company has 27 employees listed on LinkedIn. Kadiska's areas of expertise include digital experience monitoring and visibility.

Digital Experience Management is a Key Component of Netskope's SASE Architecture

SASE architecture links security and networking and connects users, devices and locations to applications, websites and data, Netskope noted. With DEM, organizations can keep hybrid work and other digital transformation initiatives on track. They also can digitize customer experiences.

The Kaskida team has decades of experience in DEM, application performance monitoring (APM) and network performance monitoring (NPM), Netskope stated. It has developed technology that combines real user experience monitoring (RUM) with end-to-end network and application performance visibility from user devices to hybrid, SaaS and cloud applications.

Now, Netskope will use Kaskida's monitoring capabilities to provide its customers with artificial intelligence- and machine learning-powered digital experience remediation across the technology stack, the company indicated. These capabilities also will help Netskope monitor and remediate performance issues and optimize the digital experience across its SASE architecture.

Netskope Delivers the Next Evolution in Digital Experience Management

The Kaskida acquisition comes after Netskope in August 2023 launched the Proactive Digital Experience Management for SASE solution.

Proactive DEM provides organizations with experience management capabilities across Netskope's SASE architecture, the company said.

Here's a rundown of the solution's key features:

  • Synthetic Monitoring Augmentation for Real Traffic (SMART) monitoring combines RUM and synthetic transaction monitoring (STM) to provide organizations with visibility into users' digital experiences.
  • Proactive remediation of digital experience issues reduce the burden on help desks and network operations teams.
  • Multi-level routing controls help organizations identify the optimal route for critical applications to maximize the user experience.

A Closer Look at Netskope

Organizations can use Netskope's products and solutions to apply zero trust principles and artificial intelligence and machine learning to protect their data and defend against cyber threats, the company said.

Netskope offers the Evolve Partner Program, which enables MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to integrate the company's products and solutions into their portfolios.
