Fortinet has combined its Fortinet Security Fabric endpoint, identity and access management (IAM), network and zero-trust security offerings to deliver a "work-from-anywhere" cybersecurity solution for global organizations, the company said.

The work-from-anywhere solution encompasses several Fortinet solutions, including:

  • FortiEDR and FortiXDR for endpoint security
  • FortiAuthenticator and FortiToken for IAM
  • FortiSASE Remote for network security
  • FortiClient, FortiOS and FortiGate for zero-trust network access

Admittedly, dozens of security companies now tout "work-from-anywhere" solutions to support customers as they navigate pandemic-inspired work scenarios. But only a few technology companies specifically design and promote their solutions for MSSPs. Fortinet is one of them.

Fortinet's goal for this particular effort: Allow customers and MSSPs to tailor security to employees based on their location and the applications, data and devices they access. The solution is backed by Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs threat intelligence and research group, the company indicated.

Fortinet is also striving to help MSSPs and end-customers close the cyber-skills gap. The evidence: Fortinet in September 2021 announced plans to provide cybersecurity skills training to 1 million people globally over the next five years. Fortinet will deliver this training via its Training Advancement Agenda (TAA) initiatives and Network Security Experts (NSE) Training Institute programs.
