Mandiant, which specializes in incident response, security assessments and threat intelligence, has announced the Mandiant Academy cybersecurity training program. The program surfaced during the company's Cyber Defense Summit, a hybrid event being held both in person in Washington D.C. and virtually.The academy provides access to on-demand cyber threat intelligence training courses, Mandiant stated. Security practitioners can use these courses to learn best practice threat intelligence frameworks and enhance their security skills.In addition, the academy offers various training options for security practitioners of different skill and experience levels, Mandiant noted. Along with launching the academy, Mandiant has released "The Defender’s Advantage" book for cybersecurity professionals and organization leaders. The Defender's Advantage provides insights to help cybersecurity professionals and organization leaders identify and address cyber threats, Mandiant indicated.
