Ontinue, Telarus Partner to Deliver MXDR Service

Share

Ontinue, a Top 40 managed detection and response (MDR) security company, and technology services distributor Telarus are working together to provide a managed eXtended detection and response (MXDR) service that allows organizations to use artificial and human intelligence to address security issues, the companies said.

The service leverages the Ontinue ION MXDR service to provide organizations with AI-powered security insights, Ontinue VP of North America Sales Pedro Vidal said. As such, the service helps organizations secure their critical assets and respond to cyber threats.

In addition, the service enables Telarus customers to "fully leverage their Microsoft 365 Defender investments and tap into around-the-clock protection against today's most complex and sophisticated threat actors," said Jason Stein, Telarus' vice president of Cybersecurity. It also helps these customers improve their security posture.

What MSSPs Need to Know About the Ontinue ION MXDR Service

ION delivers nonstop security and operations (SecOps) to help organizations increase their overall security program maturity, efficacy and scalability, Ontinue said. It consists of the following:

  • ION Platform is built on the Microsoft security portfolio and lets organizations automatically investigate and respond to security incidents and generate AI-powered and localized security insights.
  • ION Cyber Defense Center provides organizations with access to Ontinue's SecOps team and 24/7 global security monitoring.
  • ION IQ proprietary security AI learns about an organization's environment and the risks that an organization faces.

Avant Announces Ontinue ION Integration

Along with Telarus, technology distributor Avant in August 2023 integrated ION into its portfolio. Avant and Ontinue provide their joint customers with MXDR capabilities that they can use to get the most value out of their security investments, the companies indicated.

Ontinue is "closely aligned with Microsoft," the company noted. It offers a partner program that enables MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to use its technology with Microsoft Security tools. To date, Ontinue has established channel partnerships with at least seven vendors.
