MSSP Telekom Security, a subsidiary of German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom, has integrated Palo Alto Networks cybersecurity solutions into its managed security services portfolio, according to a prepared statement.

Telekom Security now provides the following Palo Alto Networks cybersecurity solutions:

  • Cloud Security: Uses Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Cloud platform for cloud visibility, compliance and identity and network protection.
  • Managed Threat Detection and Response: Delivers Palo Alto Networks' Cortex security operations suite as part of the Telekom Security managed security operations center (SOC).
  • Mobile and Remote Access: Leverages Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access secure access service to help organizations protect their mobile device users and remote locations.
  • Next-Generation Firewalls: Offers Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall for private and public cloud environments.

Together, Telekom Security and Palo Alto Networks help organizations guard against cloud and network attacks, the companies stated. They also enable organizations to protect against real-time cyberattacks.

Palo Alto Networks Adds to Its Cybersecurity Portfolio

Meanwhile, Palo Alto Networks recently has made several moves to extend its global cybersecurity market reach.

Palo Alto Networks in March purchased SD-WAN provider CloudGenix for roughly $420 million in cash. CloudGenix is expected to help Palo Alto Networks enhance its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) strategy.

Also, Palo Alto Networks in December acquired Aporeto, a company that provides a Zero Trust Cloud Security Platform and machine identity-based micro-segmentation. Palo Alto Networks integrated Aporeto's Zero Trust Cloud Security Platform into its Cloud Native Security Platform delivered by Prisma Cloud following the acquisition.

Palo Alto Networks provides an integrated cybersecurity platform that leverages artificial intelligence, analytics, automation and orchestration to help organizations keep pace with evolving cyber threats. Furthermore, Palo Alto Networks offers the NextWave Partner Ecosystem, which enables MSSPs and MSPs to deliver its cybersecurity solutions to their customers.
