Seceon Pushes Breach and Attack Simulation Into Everyday SOC Operations

Security teams already juggle too many tools. That reality shapes how breach and attack simulation gets adopted in practice, especially by MSSPs running 24×7 MDR services. With aiBAS360, Seceon is positioning Breach Attack Simulation (BAS) less as a standalone exercise and more as an embedded control validation layer inside ongoing SOC operations.

BAS without adding operational drag

One of the biggest barriers to using BAS regularly is overhead. New agents, separate consoles, and extra tuning work often push simulations into “once in a while” territory. Seceon’s approach is to keep aiBAS360 inside the same operational flow MSSPs already use.

Chandra S. Pandey, Founder and CEO of Seceon, explained to MSSP Alert, “aiBAS360 is an on/off capability in our existing agent to do APTs & Threat Actors simulations so they do not have to add any additional tools and complexity and measure the effectiveness of the existing security tools and drift against the latest threats.”

For SOC teams, that means simulations can run without disrupting production environments or introducing new workflows. Results are delivered through executive dashboards and detailed reports, with actions prioritized rather than buried in raw findings.

Turning BAS into a recurring service

Breach and attack simulation has traditionally been treated as a scheduled audit-style activity. That model breaks down as attacker behavior changes faster and AI-driven techniques become easier to generate and reuse. MSSPs are under pressure to show customers that testing keeps pace with those changes.

Pandey points to a shift already happening among partners:

“Our MSSP partners are now taking approach of running non-destructive simulations frequently than making it a fixed scheduled exercise because threat actors knows them as well.”

Instead of treating BAS as a quarterly checkbox, MSSPs can use aiBAS360 to support continuous validation. Seceon updates its models to reflect evolving APTs and threat actors, allowing providers to package simulations as an ongoing service that aligns with MDR rather than sitting beside it.

Margin and differentiation in a crowded market

Standalone BAS tools often come with hidden costs. They require people to manage them, time to interpret results, and effort to reconcile findings with what the SIEM or MDR platform already sees. That can squeeze margins and limit how widely BAS is deployed across customers.

Because aiBAS360 is built into the Seceon platform, the economics look different. Pandey describes the impact this way:

“Since it is part of Platform, it does not require the resources needed to run a standalone tool. It cost them less but offers comprehensive view of organization threat posture and they do not have to deal with many of BAS generated alerts actions.”

For MSSPs, that integration reduces operational load while improving service stickiness. BAS results are tied directly to detection and response data, helping providers show clearer ROI to customers without inflating delivery costs.

aiBAS360 is less about adding another capability to the stack and more about changing how validation fits into daily security operations. By embedding BAS into an existing MDR platform, Seceon is aiming to make continuous testing practical, repeatable, and commercially viable for MSSPs.

The real “so what” is this: when breach and attack simulation stops being a special project and starts behaving like a background control check, it becomes easier to sell, easier to run, and harder for customers to walk away from.
