Clearly, security is growing focus area for the company. That's where Arctic Wolf Networks (AWN) enters the picture. AWN CyberSOC blends human expertise and machine intelligence to safeguard organizations against cyberattacks. The service offers a variety of cybersecurity capabilities, including:
- Incident Response and Crisis Support: Delivers incident and crisis assessments, forensic analysis and post-incident evaluations.
- Log Management: Offers automatic log collection, as well as log reporting and analysis.
- Managed Detection and Response (MDR): Provides real-time threat detection and response.
AWN CyberSOC also is backed by Concierge Security Engineers (CSEs) who serve as security advisors for organizations' internal IT teams, the company said. Furthermore, CSEs proactively hunt for cyber threats, analyze forensic incidents and provide threat remediation plans.
SOCaaS Firm CyberHat Raises $6 Million
The Secure Data-AWN partnership comes after SOCaaS provider CyberHat this week secured $6 million in a funding round led by venture capital firm Mangrove Capital Partners. CyberHat will use the funding to accelerate its global expansion and bolster its CYREBRO SOCaaS platform for MSPs.
CYREBRO tracks, identifies and responds to cyber events in real-time and is supported by security analysts who perform threat detection, analysis and remediation. It also offers cyber threat intelligence and forensic capabilities and uses a "quality alerting" process to reduce false-positive alerts.
SOCaaS Market: Here's What You Need to Know
AWN and CyberHat look poised to expand their reach in the SOCaaS market. Meanwhile, other cybersecurity companies to watch in the SOCaaS market include:
MSPs can use SOCaaS to leverage SOC capabilities without the costs associated with owning and operating an SOC. No clear leader in the SOCaaS market has emerged but demand for such services among MSPs likely will increase in the years to come.
