Telstra Delivers Netskope Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)

Telstra International has expanded its partnership with Netskope whereby the companies will jointly deliver a secure access service edge (SASE) solution to global organizations, the businesses said.

The Telstra-Netskope SASE solution gives users "fast and secure access from any location to data, applications and websites wherever they reside," the companies stated. It also provides users with access to security expertise and resources and ensures that they are protected against cyber threats and can comply with data security mandates.

What MSSPs Need to Know About Netskope SASE

Netskope SASE combines the company's Intelligent SSE (security service edge) product with its Borderless SD-WAN software. It provides a cloud-native solution that organizations can use to safeguard their data, regardless of location.

With Netskope SASE, users can access to several security technologies, including:

  • Cloud access security broker (CASB)
  • Secure web gateway (SWG)
  • Zero trust network access (ZTNA)

In addition, Netskope SASE eliminates the need for a traditional network perimeter and multiple networking and security products to guard against threats, the company noted. It also enables users to leverage cloud-delivered security technologies to support and protect hybrid workers.

Netskope Unveils Next Gen SASE Branch Solution

The expanded Telstra partnership comes after Netskope in November 2023 introduced Next Gen SASE Branch solution. This capability, says Netskope, uses Borderless SD-WAN to "help organizations manage their most critical networking and security functions and optimize enterprise branches everywhere."

Next Gen SASE Branch combines SD-WAN and security appliance technologies to deliver a context-aware SASE fabric, zero trust-based security and an AI-powered cloud orchestrator, Netskope said. It also optimizes and secures traffic from all locations and users to cloud and on-premises locations.

A Closer Look at Netskope

Netskope provides a platform that organizations can use to manage access and security for people, devices and data anywhere they go. I doing so, the company helps organizations stay ahead of cloud, data and network security challenges.

Meanwhile, Netskope offers a partner program for MSSPs and other technology providers. This program gives partners access to training and certifications, sales and marketing tools, deal registration support and incentives.
