eSentire MDR in EMEA: 134% YoY Increase in New Bookings in 2019

eSentire, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019 and Top 20 managed detection and response (MDR) service provider, doubled its sales growth last year, according to a prepared statement.

The company also reported a 134 percent year-over-year increase in new bookings in EMEA in 2019 and drove over 70 percent of its sales through its channel-centric approach and indirect channel partners by the end of the year.

Amid all that growth, it's important to keep in mind that actual revenue figures and profit figures (in U.S. dollars) were not disclosed, nor do they have to be since eSentire is privately held and venture-backed.

eSentire is transitioning and investing in a scalable channel-centric strategy in Europe, the company said. European channel partners can join eSentire's channel partner program to integrate the company's MDR capabilities into their offerings.

How Does eSentire Work with Channel Partners in Europe?

eSentire collaborates with channel partners in Europe across several specialty segments and jurisdictions, and its European partners include UK technology integrator Activereach and Irish SD-WAN technology provider Viatel. It also works with cybersecurity companies CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic and VMware Carbon Black in the region.

In addition, eSentire serves European customers in the financial services and legal segments. eSentire manages its European sales and operations from offices in London, England and Cork, Ireland as well.

eSentire Introduces esCLOUD Portfolio, Adds CrowdStrike Endpoint Protection Capabilities

eSentire last month unveiled its esCLOUD portfolio, which helps organizations secure data across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud services. esCLOUD provides continuous monitoring across cloud environments and automated policy enforcement and support from eSentire's security analysts, the company said.

Furthermore, eSentire in December integrated CrowdStrike's endpoint detection and response (EDR) and next-generation antivirus (NGAV) capabilities into its MDR solution. eSentire also incorporated Crowdstrike's human threat detection engine into its esENDPOINT endpoint protection solution.
