NTT’s MSSP Arm Embraces Check Point Software Cybersecurity Solutions

NTT, a Top 250 MSSP, and Check Point Software Technologies have announced bundled cybersecurity solutions designed to protect IT infrastructure against cyberattacks. The news comes after NTT became the first Check Point Global Infinity Partner to obtain five-star status in all countries where both companies operate.

The new cybersecurity solutions combine Check Point’s Infinity cybersecurity architecture with NTT’s managed security services, the companies stated. They include a Check Point Infinity Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) with selected gateways for 500, 1,500, 2,500 and 5,000+ users, NTT support and maintenance, device management and threat detection and remediation services, along with consulting and implementation professional services and other optional services.

In addition, NTT and Check Point together provide organizations with security monitoring, vulnerability management and device management support, the companies indicated. They also can help organizations reduce risk and keep pace with the challenges associated with managing remote workers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Check Point Acquires Odo Security, Makes Channel Push

NTT has a growing portfolio of Check Point solutions from which to choose. For instance, Check Point last month acquired secure remote access technology provider Odo Security. Check Point is integrating Odo’s secure remote access technology into Infinity to provide threat prevention capabilities to help organizations provide remote employees with secure access to applications.

Check Point CEO Gil Shwed in July 2020 said he believed his company can work effectively with channel partners and is working to identify new channel partners and create the right environment for channel partners to thrive. Furthermore, Check Point in January announced a Partner Growth Program to help VARs and MSSPs deliver next-generation security services and acquire new customers.
