CrowdStrike has announced the CrowdStrike Powered Service Provider Program (CPSP) program to help MSSPs, managed detection and response (MDR) providers and other channel partners integrate its Falcon platform into their portfolios.

The company launched the program at its Fal.Con 2022 cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

CPSP enables channel partners to utilize Falcon to deliver cybersecurity solutions across the following areas:

  • Cloud security
  • Data protection
  • Endpoint security and eXtended detection and response (XDR)
  • Identity protection
  • Log management
  • Managed threat hunting
  • Security and IT operations
  • Threat intelligence

CPSP allows channel partners to “unlock broader value-added solution bundles, enhance profitability and expand their routes to market,” CrowdStrike noted. These partners can incorporate CrowdStrike package bundles or individual Falcon platform modules into their security offerings to their customers.

They also can leverage several discount options including, a partner discount for specialized package bundles and add-on modules powered by Falcon and volume-based discounts for package bundles.

Introducing CPSP’s Elite Tier

Along with launching CPSP, CrowdStrike has announced an Elite program tier that allows channel partners to use Falcon to provide advanced security capabilities.

CPSP’s Elite tier provides channel partners with access to various exclusive features, including:

  • Additional partnership and technical support
  • Enhanced go-to-market support
  • Executive sponsorships
  • New value-added bundles
  • New discounts
  • Unique CPSP-focused partner campaigns

Inaugural Elite CPSP partners include Deloitte (a Top 250 MSSP) and eSentire (a Top 40 MDR provider).

A Closer Look at CrowdStrike’s MSSP Security Business

The CPSP announcement comes after CrowdStrike reported its revenue driven by MSSP partners grew more than 150% year over year in the second quarter of 2022, CEO George Kurtz said during his company’s earnings call with Wall Street analysts on August 30, 2022. Kurtz also pointed out that CrowdStrike remains cooperative “without getting too competitive” with MSSP partners.

CrowdStrike ranks as one of the top 10 security vendors that empower MSSPs, according to the Top 250 MSSPs survey for 2022. The company continues to explore partnership opportunities with MSSPs and MDR providers.
