Fresh off of raising $110 million, Vanta Inc. is aiming for the MSSP market with the launch of its new partner program.

In addition to MSSPs, Vanta is also targeting virtual chief information officers (vCISOs) and other firms providing managed security services, the company said in its blog post. Vanta asserts that its “software allows companies to more easily make their systems compliant with data security standards.” Correspondingly, Vanta debuted its new Vanta Service Partner Program, which it expects to significantly boost its channel sales within the next two to three years.

Vanta notes that over the last few months it has been working alongside security and compliance leaders to deliver automated and comprehensive solution to its customers, giving smaller and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) enterprise-level protection.

By partnering with the most prominent vCISOs, MSSPs, MSPs and advisory/consulting firms, Vanta says offers way for companies to get and stay compliant while improving overall customer satisfaction.

Enterprise Level Protection for SMBs

As bad actors become more sophisticated, small businesses are falling victim to ransomware, social engineering, and phishing attacks, Vanta said. Furthermore, large businesses may have the resources to fight and survive such attacks, but small businesses often buckle under the weight. Vanta notes that 60% of small and medium-sized business (SMBs) go out of business within six months of getting hacked.

Vanta maintains that its Service Partner Program offers a broad range of cybersecurity capabilities with agile features so that businesses of every size to enhance their security posture.

The Service Partner Program includes:

  • Tailored training and certification. Vanta’s Partner Academy offers hands-on training and a certification program.
  • Flexible commercial model. Customers can capture margins through discounts on resold products and packaged offerings that promote long-term engagements.
  • Business and go-to-market support. The Vanta Marketing engine and a dedicated partner manager help drive go-to-market strategy, co-marketing and co-selling efforts.
  • Product insights. Customers can enrich existing services through early access to product roadmaps and releases.

‍More From Vanta

As part of its larger ecosystem, Vanta says, “We’re also doubling down on our Connectors API and continuing to expand our platform integrations to support incident management, security training, MDM, and more.” In addition, as a company’s cyber tech stack grows, so does their need to integrate with all current tools. Therefore, Vanta is expanding its library of growing native and third party integrations to support any business system.

In parallel, Vanta has added support for 10 new security and privacy frameworks. Vanta centralizes each framework with guided scoping, policies, controls, automated evidence collection, and continuous monitoring so that businesses of any size to get ready for audit or prove attestation quickly.

Vanta, based in San Francisco, California and founded six years ago, is led by 35-year-old founder and CEO Christina Cacioppo.
