Zscaler Cloud Security, CrowdStrike Endpoint Protection Partner

Zscaler has integrated its cloud security platform with the CrowdStrike Threat Graph breach prevention engine, according to a prepared statement. In doing so, both Zscaler and CrowdStrike customers can leverage real-time threat detection and automated policy enforcement to improve security across their networks and endpoints.

The Zscaler-CrowdStrike integration enables joint customers to leverage each company's offerings to secure their organizations via rich conditional access, the companies said. Rich conditional access prevents infected or non-compliant devices from obtaining corporate resources until appropriate remediation occurs.

In addition, the Zscaler-CrowdStrike integration provides joint customers with automated one-click access to CrowdStrike's endpoint telemetry and SSL inspection on the endpoint, the companies noted. It also offers threat protection with real-time intelligence and visibility into endpoints with zero-day indicators of compromise (IOCs) identified by Zscaler.

Introducing the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund

The Zscaler-CrowdStrike integration comes after CrowdStrike recently introduced the Falcon Fund $20 million early-stage investment fund. Offered in conjunction with venture capital firm Accel, the Falcon Fund provides IT security startups with resources to help with application development and integration.

Furthermore, CrowdStrike reported total revenue of $108.1 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2020, which represented a 94 percent year-over-year increase. CrowdStrike also recorded annual recurring revenue of $423.8 million during the time frame; this represented a 104 percent year-over-year increase.
