Carvir, a Top 100 MSSP for 2017, now offers Cyren Internet security products to its managed service provider (MSP) and IT service provider (ITSP) partners, the two companies have confirmed.

With the Cyren partnership, Carvir delivers a web gateway security solution that its MSP and ITSP partners can use to protect customer networks against cyberattacks, the company indicated. Cyren also provides Carvir's MSP and ITSP partners with access to "the largest security cloud in the world," Carvir asserted.

A Closer Look at Cyren Web Security

Cyren uses cloud intelligence to provide advanced web security, Carvir stated. It offers the Cyren Web Security solution to help end users protect and manage web usage.

Web Security is a 100 percent cloud-delivered service, Cyren stated. The service provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) secure web gateway, Cyren said, to protect network users against malware, ransomware, phishing and other cyber threats.

Furthermore, Web Security leverages real-time threat intelligence from 600 million users and more than 17 billion web and email transactions every day, according to Cyren. Web Security is powered by Cyren GlobalView, a security network that blocks more than 130 million cyber threats daily.

Web Security also delivers real-time visibility into web usage and security performance, Cyren noted, and eliminates the costs and complexity of appliance hardware and data center resources. The service provides real-time threat intelligence, Cyren indicated, and detects malicious files, URLs, IP addresses and phishing sites.

Carvir: Here's What You Need to Know

Carvir is a SentinelOne endpoint security software partner that operates as a master MSSP. It enables MSPs to deliver behavior-based threat detection to stop advanced malware, exploits and other cyberattacks.

More than 500 MSP partners have already provided Carvir's SentinelOne endpoint security solution to over 2,000 businesses, according to the company. Carvir helps smaller MSPs enter the security market and continues to explore partnerships as it looks to extend its global reach.

In addition to the Cyren pact, Carvir last month announced a partnership with log monitoring solutions provider EventTracker to deliver a security information and event management (SIEM) service for MSPs. Carvir also expanded its global security threat team and security operations center (SOC) to provide the managed SIEM service.
