Milton Security MDR Gains Threat Hunting, Security Monitoring

Milton Security has released the Milton Argos Platform (MAP) 2.0, a managed detection and response (MDR) offering that leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning and human expertise to help security teams detect and mitigate cyber threats in real time, according to a prepared statement.

Key features of MAP 2.0 include:

  • Incident response
  • Live threat hunting
  • Security monitoring
  • Threat anticipation

MAP 2.0 also can analyze millions of security events per second, Milton President Ethan Coulter stated. In doing so, MAP 2.0 enables security teams to discover and eliminate cyber threats from a wide range of sources.

Milton delivers MDR, extended detection and response (XDR) and threat hunting-as-a-service to help organizations scout for threats and manage incident response activities. In addition, Milton provides a free proof of value (POV) trial that allows organizations to analyze the effectiveness of its threat models and hunt teams.

MDR Providers Deeptree, eSentire Announce Integrations

Along with Milton, MDR providers Deeptree and eSentire recently upgraded their portfolios and extended their market reach.

Deeptree in October integrated Stellar Cyber security operations capabilities into its MDR platform. The Stellar Cyber integration provides the foundation for Deeptree's next-generation security operations center (SOC) and allows the company to scale its cybersecurity services as needed.

Also, eSentire, a Top 250 MSSP and Top 20 MDR service provider, in October partnered with robotic process automation (RPA) company UiPath. With the partnership, organizations now can use eSentire's Extended Detection and Response platform in combination with UiPath's hyperautomation platform to automate their Microsoft Security configurations and security policy creation and updates for non-API accessible Microsoft services.
