Orange Business Services, a global telecommunications provider with a Top 250 MSSP business unit, has integrated Fortinet networking technologies into its telco cloud infrastructure. The result is a= secure access service edge (SASE) solution that bridges the gap between end-users and applications, the companies said.

The SASE solution supports digital acceleration and the shift to "work from anywhere" among global organizations, Fortinet CMO John Maddison noted. It enables these organizations to establish and maintain a zero-trust infrastructure.

What Does the Orange-Fortinet SASE Solution Offer?

The Orange-Fortinet SASE solution combines networking and security in the cloud, according to the companies. It allows organizations to leverage zero-trust network access, firewall-as-a-service and other security capabilities, regardless of location.

Furthermore, the solution is backed by Orange Cyberdefense cybersecurity expertise and capabilities, Orange indicated. As such, the solution helps organizations protect against current and emerging cyber threats.

Along with the SASE solution, Orange previously developed a Flexible SD-WAN offering in conjunction with Fortinet. Flexible SD-WAN helps organizations orchestrate, operate and optimize their networks, the companies said.

Fortinet Promotes "Work-from-Anywhere" Cybersecurity to MSSP Partners

The Orange SASE solution comes after Fortinet in November 2021 combined its Fortinet Security Fabric endpoint, identity and access management (IAM), network and zero-trust security offerings into a "work-from-anywhere" cybersecurity solution for global organizations. This solution allows MSSPs and other organizations to tailor security to employees based on their location and the applications, data and devices they access, the company said.

MSSPs can offer Fortinet solutions via the company's partner program. They also can use these solutions to help organizations secure their endpoints and networks and ensure their employees can securely access them from anywhere.
