LTIMindtree has added Cyfirma threat intelligence capabilities to its eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform.

The news comes after Larsen & Toubro, LTIMindtree's parent organization, in April 2023 invested in Cyfirma in a pre-Series B funding round, the company announced in a prepared statement.

LTIMindtree and Cyfirma Speed Up Threat Detection and Response

Together, LTIMindtree and Cyfirma will "empower organizations with external threat visibility and equip them with automated detection and remediation," the companies stated. Organizations will be able to use LTIMindtree's XDR platform in conjunction with Cyfirma's threat intelligence capabilities to protect against evolving cyber threats from sophisticated hacking groups. They also will be able analyze their cyber posture and find ways to optimize it.

Sudhir Chaturvedi, LTIMindtree's president, explained how his company is using Cyfirma's threat intelligence capabilities to help organizations stay ahead of cyber threats:

"Organizations are having to adopt measures that improve security posture not just from the perspective of resolving these incidents effectively, but also detecting, responding, and recovering from risks ahead of time. Our partnership with Cyfirma will provide a 360-degree, intelligent and integrated threat monitoring and automated incident response system, which will help clients build a predictive, prescriptive and resilient cybersecurity ecosystem and further strengthen their overall security posture."

Describing how organizations can use his company's external threat management platform with LTIMindtree's XDR platform to secure their operations, Cyfirma CEO Kumar Ritesh said:

"We are thrilled to extend our leading external threat landscape management platform, which consists of attack surface monitoring, digital risk discovery and cyber-intelligence capabilities, to LTIMindtree, and together serve global customers who are seeking to build stronger and more resilient businesses. Our joint offering delivers full signal visibility and fidelity where the finished intelligence will provide faster detection, response and containment of threats."
