Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has acquired Secure Halo, a cybersecurity firm for federal, state, and local government agencies and commercial entities. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.This is technology M&A deal number 283 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.Secure Halo’s Washington D.C., metro office will become MCP’s Center of Excellence for enhanced Secure Halo cyber risk capabilities. The office will feature an "elite group of seasoned analysts, technicians, and cybersecurity experts," the buyer indicated.Sean Doherty, cofounder and president of Secure Halo, added:MCP has made multiple acquisitions since 2018. MCP, based in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, has grown to roughly 185 employees since launching in 2009.Secure Halo, founded in 2006, has received a DHS SAFETY Act designation, and the company has Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) expertise.
