Netsurion, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019, has transformed its vision of becoming a master MSSP into "a reality," VP of Channel and Alliances Guy Cunningham said in a prepared statement.

The cybersecurity company doubled the number of endpoints under management via MSPs and signed up twice as many partners over the previous year in 2019. It also announced that more than 500 Netsurion partners deliver their own security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS).

Furthermore, Netsurion partnered with Softchoice, an IT solutions and managed services provider, and Immedion, Logically and other security-focused MSPs in 2019. It partnered with Synnex for distribution and expanded its relationships with value-added resellers (VARs) to deliver its secure branch networking solution to multi-unit businesses as well.

It's safe to expect Netsurion's partner push to continue during February's RSA conference in San Francisco, MSSP Alert believes.

Introducing EventTracker EDR

In addition to its partnerships, Netsurion in February 2019 unveiled EventTracker EDR, a managed security service that includes both endpoint detection and response (EDR) and security information and event management (SIEM) capabilities.

EventTracker EDR uses network machine learning and process monitoring functions to ensure only authorized programs, applications and processes can run, Netsurion said. It also protects organizations against known malware and unknown or zero-day attacks and is backed by Netsurion’s ISO 27001-certified SOC.

What Does the Future Hold for Netsurion?

Netsurion has converged purpose-built network hardware, security software and managed services and is well-positioned to deliver effective yet practical cybersecurity solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) via their current IT providers in 2020, the company said.

Meanwhile, partnerships remain key to Netsurion's success, Cunningham noted. Netsurion continues to provide a partner program to MSSPs, MSPs and VARs that enables them to integrate the company's security offerings into their portfolios and defend SMBs against cyber threats.
