ReliaQuest, a company that specializes in security model management, has opened a cybersecurity technology center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company also has announced plans to open a second office in Tampa, Florida.

The Salt Lake City cybersecurity technology center hosts ReliaQuest's fourth security operations center (SOC) and supports its GreyMatter unified threat response platform, the company said. ReliaQuest expects to hire 50 employees to work at its Salt Lake City cybersecurity technology center by 2021.

Meanwhile, ReliaQuest will open its second Tampa location this fall to host its administrative and business functions, including sales, marketing, finance and recruiting, the company stated. In addition, ReliaQuest's Tampa office will help the company expand its SOC and technical teams.

A Closer Look at ReliaQuest

ReliaQuest uses machine learning and human analysis to help organizations build custom security models that evolve over time. It offers GreyMatter, which aggregates data from security incident and event management (SIEM), endpoint detection and response (EDR) and other security platforms.

GreyMatter leverages past threat intelligence across customers' technology stacks and applies current threat intelligence during security analyses, ReliaQuest said. In doing so, GreyMatter helps organizations learn from past attacks and identify the best ways to secure their data and assets.

ReliaQuest has more than 200 customers and 360 employees. It also has a 97 percent average three-year customer retention rate.
