Terra Verde, an AlienVault partner and MSSP that offers security, risk and compliance services, is working with cloud-based property management system provider SkyTouch Technology to deliver a managed cybersecurity solution for the hospitality industry.
Now, SkyTouch provides Terra Verde's Breach Radar cybersecurity and compliance monitoring platform and service to hospitality and lodging businesses, according to a prepared statement.
Breach Radar is a managed security solution that has been deployed in over 1,300 sites across the United States and Canada, Terra Verde indicated. It is designed to safeguard businesses and customer data against viruses and hackers and provides cyber protection in several areas, including:
- Business systems.
- Credit card data.
- Customer records.
- Government systems.
- Medical records.
In addition, Breach Radar helps businesses reduce the risk of cyberattacks, compliance fines and data theft, according to Terra Verde. It empowers companies with a wide range of cybersecurity capabilities, such as:
- Compliance policies, procedures and training.
- Security and compliance scanning and monitoring.
- System patching and updates.
- $100,000 of breach insurance.
Breach Radar now enables hospitality and lodging businesses to eliminate risk and reduce the costs of deploying cybersecurity solutions, Terra Verde CEO Edward Vasko said. It also removes the complexity of managing PCI regulatory compliance, Vasko noted, and helps protect hotel operators against data breaches.
Furthermore, Breach Radar augments the SkyTouch Hotel OS property management system and portfolio of offerings, CEO Todd Davis stated. It empowers hoteliers to manage cybersecurity issues and PCI compliance, Davis pointed out, so they can prioritize customer service.

SkyTouch offers a property management system that enables users to manage hotel operations from any internet-connected device. The system provides visibility and control of hotel operations via real-time business analytics, enabling hoteliers to improve their hotel guest experience, operational decision-making and financial results, the company noted.
