ThreatBlockr, a cybersecurity platform provider, and MSSP Engaged Security Partners have announced a strategic partnership to deliver data breach prevention capabilities to their joint customers, according to a prepared statement.

Threat Intelligence Delivered

Engaged is using ThreatBlockr's cyber threat intelligence and defense platform for threat intelligence management, the companies said. That way, Engaged's customers can block malicious traffic and reduce the risk of human errors that lead to cyberattacks and data breaches.

In addition, ThreatBlockr's platform helps Engaged make "threat intelligence actionable," Engaged CEO Chad Earwood said. It also empowers Engaged's customers to create proactive security environments in which they can stop cyber threats before they can infiltrate their networks.

ThreatBlockr Updates Its Platform, Partners with MSP Ubistor

The Engaged integration and partnership come after ThreatBlockr in February 2023 upgraded its platform's policy configurations and access controls, network and port protection and management system. These upgrades enable MSPs to use ThreatBlockr's platform to generate additional insights into cyber threats and why they are blocked, CTO Pat McGarry said. They also allow MSPs to utilize ThreatBlockr's platform to stop traffic malicious IP addresses and domains, CEO Brian McMahon stated.

Previously, ThreatBlockr in November 2022 partnered with UbiStor, an MSP that specializes in data protection and disaster recovery. Ubistor has added ThreatBlockr's capabilities to its Data Protection and DR-as-a-Service offerings, Ubistor CEO Dan Hill noted. In doing so, Ubistor customers can use these capabilities to block threats.

ThreatBlockr's platform "blocks every threat from every path" across an organization's network, the company indicated. The platform stops known threats before they can reach an organization's network and automates the enforcement, deployment and analysis of cyber intelligence.

MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers can join ThreatBlockr's partner program to integrate the company's platform into their offerings. Furthermore, ThreatBlockr offers over 20 technology integrations.
