Trustwave, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019, has launched Trustwave Security Testing Services to help government agencies and enterprises leverage security scanning and testing capabilities across their IT environments.
Trustwave Security Testing Services provide government agencies and enterprises with the ability to acquire, apply and manage security scanning and testing via a single dashboard, Trustwave indicated. In doing so, Trustwave Security Testing Services allow these organizations to scan applications for unpatched vulnerabilities, exploitable code or evidence of malicious activity, perform penetration tests and run network and web vulnerability scans.
How Do Trustwave Security Testing Services Work?
Trustwave Security Testing Services provide access to a catalog of scanning and testing services and security personnel that can be scaled as required, according to the company. They are built on the Trustwave Fusion cloud-based cybersecurity platform and offer a variety of security scanning and testing capabilities, including:
- Network and application scanning scheduling and execution.
- Security tests led by Trustwave SpiderLabs.
- Risk analysis.
Trustwave Security Testing Services are now available.
Trustwave: Additional Research and Development
Trustwave has been busy on the R&D (research and development) front. The company earlier this year also unveiled its DbProtect database security scanning and testing software.
DbProtect offers data visibility and protection and compliance management capabilities, Trustwave noted. It is used to safeguard more than 500,000 databases worldwide and can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud.
Trustwave is a Singtel company that provides managed security services to customers in 96 countries. The MSSP also offers a global channel partner program that enables MSPs, value-added resellers (VARs) and other technology vendors to incorporate Trustwave's managed security services into their portfolios.
