Fitzgerald is responsible for the global strategy and execution of Jask's go-to-market functions, according to a prepared statement.
Fitzgerald most recently served as COO at Javelin Networks, which provides an intrusion containment platform for corporate domain environments. Prior to joining Javelin, he was a founding executive member and CMO at Cylance, the artificial intelligence (AI) endpoint protection and detection solutions provider.
Fitzgerald has deep roots across the cybersecurity market. He remains an advisory board member for Cylance, and chairman of the board for Cyberforce Security -- an MSSP.
Jask Growth, Partner Program Moves
Jask appears to be in growth mode. The company, based in San Francisco, recently opened a second headquarters in Austin, Texas. The Austin HQ will host 40 employees, and that figure is expected to reach 100 team members by the end of 2018, the company indicated.
Jask also has a growing partner program, led by VP of channels and alliances Marc Davis. The effort includes Jask Answers -- which is designed for MSSPs, value-added resellers (VARs) and technology solution providers. It provides access to co-branded marketing collateral, deal registration support, sales training and other features to help channel partners drive sales and revenue growth.
Just last month, the company extended the Jask Answers program to the UK -- where value-added distributor Ignition Technology provides the ASOC platform to partners in the region.
Jask, Cylance Unveil Integration
Strategic alliances also are emerging. Cylance in January integrated the Jask ASOC platform into its endpoint security offering. The integration enables the companies' joint customers to access Cylance threat event, alert, classification and audit logs via Jask. It also offers a single source for visibility across all data and assets, Cylance stated, and helps organizations automate threat analysis.
Jask was founded in 2016 and is backed by investors Battery Ventures, Dell Technology Ventures, TenEleven and Vertical Venture Partners. The company's ASOC platform applies AI and machine learning to threat detection and remediation and helps organizations identify, prioritize and manage corporate risk.
