Endpoint protection specialist SentinelOne continues to build momentum with security-minded MSPs, MSSPs and MDR (managed detection and response) service providers.
CriticalStart MDR and Endpoint Protection
The CriticalStart-SentinelOne relationship surfaced this week.
CriticalStart customers can use SentinelOne's endpoint protection platform to centralize, ingest and correlate security logs, according to the companies. This enables CriticalStart customers to use SentinelOne's endpoint protection capabilities to investigate security alerts until they are resolved.
Furthermore, Critical Start customers can leverage SentinelOne's ActiveEDR solution in conjunction with its MDR services to contextualize and identify threat actors in real time, the companies stated. ActiveEDR also provides Critical Start customers with 24x7 security alerts.
Critical Start's MDR services help security analysts resolve 99.9 percent of security events, the company asserts. The company also has had relationships with Carbon Black, Palo Alto Networks and other cybersecurity companies.
CriticalStart: Pure Channel Focused
The SentinelOne partnership comes after CriticalStart in October 2019 announced it was "completely channel-focused," according to a prepared statement. To support its channel efforts, CriticalStart hired Palo Alto Networks veteran Dwayne Myers as its VP of channels and alliances and partnered with Ingram Micro and Synnex.
Also, CriticalStart in June 2019 raised $40 million to expand nationwide across the United States. The effort includes new field service offices in New York City and Los Angeles, California as well.
